Attendance and Time Entry
With its 220 employees working from several branches, collecting and keying in employee time sheets every two weeks once was a time-consuming, problematic, and inefficient task.

HRMG Solutions recommended and implemented the Sage Abra Attendance module and a companion product from Galaxy Technologies called TimeStar to streamline TruMark Financial's time and attendance entry.
TimeStar is a Web-based time-clock system that allows employees to clock in, clock out, and record their leave time over the Internet. With TimeStar's ability to interface with Sage Abra, there is no additional data entry required. This system saves a full two days of labor every month - time Shiver once spent manually entering employee time sheets.
TimeStar sends time and attendance data directly into the Sage Abra Attendance module, recording hours worked and paid leave. Employees are able to check the balance of their paid time off at any time, saving Shiver and her staff dozens of phone calls each month. "Our call volume is now half of what it was," explains Shiver.
Supervisors can access TimeStar over the Internet to monitor employee activity, anytime and anywhere there is access to the web. They can review and approve employee timesheets, make corrections, receive alerts, and run reports. When supervisors receive an employee request of time off, they can quickly query to verify leave balances before approving use of leave time.
The Sage Abra Attendance module supports any number of leave time plans, and allows TruMark Financial to track absences such as jury duty, family leave, medical leave, compensatory time, and more. Sage Abra Attendance holds the organization's holiday schedule and saves manual data entry by automatically generating holiday pay entries for employees.
